Law firm Wenderoth, Lind & Ponack wanted a new, modern office space that promotes collaboration and connection for staff members across the firm. To offset the rigorous demands of the legal profession, Wenderoth also wanted an office that integrates wellness.
Inspired by Wenderoth’s focus on intellectual property prosecution, the design concept for the space was convergence: the act of coming together at a single point from different directions. We created a space that represents the point of convergence — from individual endeavors to focused teamwork. Intersecting, multi-directional lines create expansive clusters of angular shapes, creating junction points at social hubs throughout the space. Linear, high-contrast materials bring focus to these collaborative zones as they converge in the café, conference spaces, and meeting rooms.
For wellness, glass office fronts allow an abundance of natural light to permeate the interior of the space, providing light-filled corridors even with a number of private offices. Textural materials such as those that resemble wood and stone bring a calming sense of nature and warmth, while reinforcing the concept of convergence through linear patterns.
Wenderoth’s new office is tailored to the organization’s needs as a law firm and embodies the spirit of their work and mission. Spaces for collaboration and an emphasis on wellness provide the best of what the modern strategies can offer law firms who are ready to evolve their workspaces.
