We founded FOX Architects because we wanted a firm that encourages staff leadership and originality. Since 2003, we’ve stood apart in the architecture and interior design industries because of our respect for and commitment to our people.
We’ve been recognized as one of Washington Business Journal‘s Best Places to Work, thanks to our focus on learning, team-building, and celebrating our successes. Our studio culture is defined by innovative, engaged team members who synthesize bedrock theories with leading trends and see beyond challenges. Learn more about our firm’s unique culture.
As a people-centric firm that designs environments, we’re passionate about helping others and making the world a better place. As part of our Community Connection initiative, FOX Architects partners with 4-H on local service projects that both educate youth and help the environment.
Like 4-H, our firm was founded to develop and empower leaders who will boldly share new ideas and contribute to our community. We believe that the backbone of leadership is serving others and being willing to help others achieve their full potential. As we give back through our Community Connection initiative, we live out our values and pay forward what we have been so fortunate to receive: time, care, and a helping hand.
In our 19 year history, we’ve collaborated with our industry peers and teamed up on projects that help our community thrive, such as IIDA MAC’s Cosmo Couture, AIA DC’s CANstruction, Cushman & Wakefield’s Race for Hope Chili Cook-Off, Herman Miller’s We Care, and more.
