WASHINGTON, DC, June 10, 2016 – FOX Architects, LLC, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm, has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal as a 2016 Best Place to Work. This honor recognizes the company’s achievements in creating a positive work environment and offering benefits, policies, and practices that are among the DC area’s best.
“The DC area is a hub of so many world-class companies that it is an honor to be recognized as one of the best places to work in the region,” said Principal, Bob Fox. “It’s a true reflection and validation of our culture and a work environment that allows our employees the opportunity to work on innovative, challenging projects and to provide outstanding work for our clients – all while having fun at work.”
The company was selected out of hundreds of employers in the DC area by Quantum Workplace’s employee engagement survey. This scientific survey measures 10 key engagement categories focusing on items such as team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. Employers must meet a minimum participation threshold and the cumulative scores are used exclusively to determine the finalists.
“FOX Architects provides an amazing, collaborative, energetic environment that I would recommend to anyone passionate about architecture and design,” wrote a FOX Architects employee in their engagement survey, “The leadership provides enough oversight to make employees feel supported and enough autonomy to allow individuals to mold unique career paths. The social opportunities here are just as rich as the career growth, and I’m lucky enough to call many of my coworkers close friends.”
FOX Architects was recognized at the annual Best Places to Work event sponsored by the Washington Business Journal yesterday evening at Arena Stage in Washington, DC.
