FOX Architects Promotes Four Members To Associates

McLean, VA - FOX Architects (FOX), an expert in commercial office design and architecture is proud to announce the appointment of Jennifer Jordan, IIDA; Damon Josue, IIDA, LEED AP; Derek Wood, AIA, LEED AP; and Derek LaFever, to the position of Associate effective November 10, 2011.
These highly qualified and gifted individuals have been instrumental to the firm’s success while displaying exemplary leadership and management skills. Each person embodies the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit and has helped cultivate an environment in which other professionals can grow. We congratulate them and look forward to their future accomplishments as Associates with FOX Architects.

Jennifer Jordan, IIDA, is FOX Architects’ Interiors Director in the Washington, DC office. She is a 15 year design industry veteran and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Jordan has been with FOX for 8 years. During this time, she has successfully led her design teams on several significant and award winning projects including: Pepperdine University, Community College of the District of Columbia, CQ Roll Call, and the Department of Homeland Security.
Damon Josue, IIDA, LEED AP is FOX Architects’ Interiors Director in the McLean, VA office. A graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State of University, Mr. Josue’s design career spans over 13 years and he has been with FOX for over 5 years. Mr. Josue specializes in large corporate and government spaces. He has strategically led his teams on noteworthy projects such as: American Chemical Council, AvalonBay Communities, Inc., CBRE Group, and VISA International.
Derek Wood, AIA, LEED AP is a seasoned Senior Architect in FOX Architects’ base building studio and the Building Information Modeling (BIM) leader for the firm. With 14 years of experience and 5 years with FOX, Mr. Wood provides his team with immeasurable architectural expertise as well as mentoring capabilities. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, his prominent projects include: 440 First Street, 1400 Crystal Drive, and 2175 K Street.
Derek LaFever, FOX Architects’ IT Director has been with the firm for 7 years. He successfully manages the firm’s network capabilities based on FOX’s needs and strategic goals. Under Mr. LaFever’s leadership, FOX recently incorporated Newforma, Project Information Management software to its library of innovative resources.
